MARINE CONSERVATION CAMBODIA
PROTECTING, CONSERVING, AND RESTORING CAMBODIA'S MARINE ENVIRONMENT
EXTENSIVE COLLABORATION
MARINE CONSERVATION CAMBODIA – MCC is a prominent force in preserving Cambodia's marine environments and biodiversity. Endorsed by the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC), MCC engages in scientific research, advocates responsible fishing practices, conducts community outreach, monitors endangered species, and improves livelihoods. Currently overseeing two legislated Marine Fisheries Management Areas (MFMA’s) in collaboration with national fisheries administration and local authorities.
KNAI BANG CHATT – As Cambodia's first internationally certified eco-friendly resort (Green Growth 2050 Label), KBC acts as a key contributor to the growth of local ecotourism. In this regard, the KBC team has achieved significant milestones in community development, education accessibility, capacity building, and environmental conservation. Through these successful projects, KBC demonstrates how private companies can drive sustainable economic growth while prioritizing climate actions. KBC's innovative approach is anchored in expanding the concept of "capital" to include the social return on investment in the local environment and community.
